Tutorial with Step by Step Instructions to create Navigation Buttons for use in your BlueVoda Website.
Navigation Buttons are easy to make and use, they are used on this website. Do not use "Menu Bar", the Search Engines will not see them and can not use them as keywords or to follow your page links.
You can use the "Shape" and "Logo" tools to make your Naviation Buttons. With "Logo" you can include a border, be sure to delete the text "Logo" at the top. The proceedure is the same for both "Shape" and "Logo".
Start with a blank or new page. Select either "Shape" or "Logo" and double click on it. This will take you to the properties page. Select the colors and any other variations you want and click "OK". If you use "Logo", be sure to delete the text.
Click once on your button and use the handles to make it the size you want.
To make your mouse over button, right click on your button and select "Copy", go to a blank area and right click and select "Paste". Now double click on the new button and change the colors, gradient or anything you want to make it different. If you need different size buttons, right click on your original button, copy, and paste. Then resize your button. Make a mouse over button the same size. Coninue untill you have all the buttons you need. Save your page.
Save your buttons by going to "Preview", click on "Click here for options" (upper right), click "Allow blocked content", click "Yes". Now right click on your first button and select "Save picture as". You want to save in C/Program Files/Bluevoda Website Builder/navbar. The file type should be "GIF" and the file name sould be 1a. Repeat these steps and save your mouse over button as 1b, your buttons will show up in "Navigation" at the top with the first button on top and your mouse over button second. Save any other size buttons, you have created as 1c and 1d for the mouse over, continue with this pattern until all buttons have been saved.
Now you are ready to use your buttons in "Navigation" on your website. Use copy and paste to copy your navigation buttons from one webpage to another.
